Logan Nix

Logan Nix began playing drums at the age of ten. He has participated and won numerous awards at local music festivals for outstanding jazz improvisation and fluency of styles. Logan also trained classically throughout his high school career with University of New Mexico Professor L. Scott Ney. Logan has performed with the New Mexico Allstate Symphonic Band in 2004 and the New Mexico Allstate Symphony Orchestra in 2005. He began playing professionally at the age of eighteen in local groups. He spent some time at UNM working on a bachelor's degree in music education, but is taking some time off for opportunity. Logan is now a budding young freelance drummer/percussionist constantly looking for the next hot artist. He plays all over the United States on a regular basis for large corporate acts and has begun his international career, performing for heads of state, dignitaries, and multi-billionaires in Canada, Mexico, U.S. Virgin Islands, and the British Virgin Islands. His groove is solid and infectious! He dares you not to dance!
